Hello! I'm Alina Lamoreaux your dedicated Mental Health Therapist. Welcome to your transformative journey of inner renewal and growth.

A Personal Journey

Inner Renewal Therapy is more than a professional endeavor; it’s a deeply personal one. After dedicating many years to my career, I reached a turning point in my life. A journey of seven years, filled with infertility challenges, multiple losses, invasive treatments, and significant financial strain, finally led to the miracle of conceiving my daughter. This life-altering experience inspired me to seek a more balanced and fulfilling work-life that would allow me to be the best mother possible to my little girl. It also ignited a profound passion within me to help others facing similar challenges along with my other specialties, which is why I decided to establish my own private practice.

Through Inner Renewal Therapy, I aim to bring my expertise and understanding to support individuals who have experienced perinatal issues, anxiety -related disorders, obsessive compulsive-related disorders, grief and loss, trauma, and body & self-esteem issues.

I’m proud to say that my evidenced-based approaches have helped many clients report significant improvements in their well-being. They not only feel better but also gain lifelong tools to navigate life more effectively and find lasting happiness. At Inner Renewal Therapy, I’m here to walk beside you, offering my warmth, expertise, and a helping hand on your path to renewal and wellbeing.

The Dandelion as a Symbol of Renewal and Resilience in Therapy

The dandelion’s symbolism runs deep, resonating with the tenets of therapy at Inner Renewal:

  • Seeds of Change: Like the dandelion seeds that disperse in the wind, therapy enables individuals to explore new perspectives, ideas, and behaviors, facilitating personal growth and transformation.
  • Blooming at Your Pace: Similar to how dandelions bloom in their own time, therapy encourages individuals to honor their unique journey of self-discovery and healing, progressing at their own pace.
  • Rooted Healing: Just as dandelion roots delve deep into the earth, therapy guides individuals to unearth the root causes of their challenges, fostering profound healing.
  • Letting Go: In the same way that dandelions release their fluffy seeds into the wind, therapy helps individuals let go of negative thoughts, emotions, and patterns, creating space for new growth and positivity.
  • Individual Beauty: Acknowledging that, like each dandelion, every individual is unique in their appearance, therapy celebrates the individuality of each person’s experiences and strengths.
  • Cultivating Inner Renewal: Dandelions represent inner renewal, mirroring the therapeutic process of nurturing and cultivating one’s inner self to foster personal growth and well-being.
  • Turning Challenges into Opportunities: Just as dandelions thrive in adversity, therapy encourages individuals to see their challenges as opportunities for growth and positive change.
  • Spreading Positivity: Similar to dandelion seeds spreading positivity as they drift in the wind, therapy empowers individuals to create a positive ripple effect in their lives and relationships through newfound insights and skills.
  • Embracing Imperfections: Despite being often regarded as weeds, dandelions possess their own unique beauty. Similarly, therapy encourages individuals to embrace their imperfections and recognize the hidden strengths within themselves.

"Being a therapist is a privilege. We are allowed into the inner chambers of people's lives when they are at their most vulnerable." - Mary Pipher
